Me
A lover of music, beautiful visuals and the moment when everything comes together perfectly! I’ve always been passionate about creative video and audio editing: even as a child I used to edit VHS and cassette tapes in my bedroom.
I completed a degree in Film, Television, Literature and Theatre. I have a particular love for music videos and they were the focus of my dissertation.
After working at various production companies I spent several years in London working at a top 10 Soho post production house. There I gained experience and understanding of the wonderful and sometimes crazy world of high-end post production of commercials, music promos and channel branding.
I took a break to travel for a while and then came back to Cambridgeshire to work for a well-known independent audio production company as a video editor and DVD author. I feel very lucky to have worked in such exciting companies, gaining a wide range of video and audio experience and meeting some lovely, creative people along the way.
Twelve years later, I do all things video freelance. I especially love showcasing small businesses and charities!
I care about well-being and good mental health and recently trained as a Mental Health First Aider. I also volunteer at a digital inclusion charity that helps disabled and disadvantaged people with digital skills. I help with their social media channels: creating content, building connections, promotion and campaigns.
In my spare time you'll usually find me walking with my family in a country park or by the sea taking photos. I'm also a big fan of film and comedy!
It's amazing meeting new people every day and I love my work.
